The K9O Bootcamp Program combines 2 weeks of board-and-train with 4 owner-focused private lessons, AND 12 group class lessons for the ultimate training experience! We are excited to help you create lasting, positive changes in you and your dog's behavior!
Let us do the initial heavy lifting! During the initial 2 week board and train portion we will provide daily training sessions focused on building muscle memory, enhancing focus around distractions, and ensuring generalized compliance. We will get to know the ins and outs of what motivates your dog, their quirks, strengths, and weaknesses through personalized attention and a structured routine.
During the 4 private one on one lessons you will learn effective handling and communication techniques to maintain your dog's progress. This is critical in for success on the human end of the leash!
We further support your training journey with 12 group lessons, providing an opportunity to continue honing dog's skills in a social setting! Come every week, come every other week, we're flexible! Just make sure to use your lessons within 6 months to make sure to keep up the momentum!
Our program caters to various training needs, offering specialized options for puppy training, basic obedience and manners, as well as refinement training for those seeking to advance their dog's skills.
IN ADDITION TO THE LESSONS, YOU WILL RECEIVE:

A custom Youtube channel showing your dog learning skills and exercises

Individual profile outlining the ins and outs of your dog's temperament traits, strengths, and weaknesses

Step-by-step training handouts and supplemental materials to refer back to once your dog is home

PUPPY ESSENTIALS
As part of our curriculum we will work on:

Socialization with dogs and Humans

Socialization to sounds, textures, novel stimuli

Acclimation to handling/grooming/restraints

Addressing play biting and over-stimulation

This program can be customized to meet the needs of conformation, working dog, or performance prospects!
BASIC MANNERS
This 2 week program introduces your dog to basic obedience and manners skills including:

Polite Visitor Greetings (jumping)
All foundation level exercises are conducted on leash, or using a long line unless in a contained space.
This program uses primarily positive reinforcement to instill commands. We want your dog to be motivated to perform!
Ideal for dogs with little or no prior training, or those requiring trouble shooting on basic control.
INTERMEDIATE / IMPULSE
This 2 week program introduces distractions and fine tuning your dog to all of the skills covered in our Foundations program, plus:

All foundation level exercises are conducted on leash, or using a long line unless in a contained space.
This program uses primarily positive reinforcement and focuses on sequencing multiple commands, phasing out food rewards, and introducing life rewards.
Great for dogs who have the basics and benefit from additional skills and fine tuning. Excellent for impulsive dogs who forget their manners and need refinement training.
CUSTOM BOOTCAMP
We are happy to collaborate with owners on a custom bootcamp option to suit training needs. We can tailor a program for:
